Secondary coating of defective parts

There are generally two spraying methods for the secondary spraying of defective workpieces after spraying: spraying again after demoulding and spraying again after partial treatment of the plastic layer.

I. Precautions for repainting after demoulding

  • 1.Demoulding can be done by solvent etching or high temperature baking, different workpieces should choose the right way of demoulding
  • 2.After demoulding, the workpiece is pre-treated, sprayed and baked to the next line in accordance with the new workpiece

II. Partial treatment after the return of spraying precautions

1.     This method is not recommended for workpieces with high requirements for surface gloss and surface

flatness, it is recommended to spray again after demoulding.

2.     After wiping and blowing the partially polished workpiece directly after powder coating, it cannot be

 cleaned again with pre-treatment.

3.     To ensure that the workpiece gloss and leveling spraying, it is necessary to control the powder thickness,

the film thickness is too thin plastic layer will be a serious loss of light and the re-paint powder can not

 cover defects.

4.     The defective workpiece is partially polished but when spraying, the workpiece should be sprayed as a

 whole not partially.

5.When repainting, use a new hook and lower the gun current and voltage for painting.
